✈️ Air

TL;DR

Air shopping, ticketing, commissions, and sync reliability are getting stronger. The biggest advisor-facing improvement is a better return-flight shopping experience that gives members more choice after they select an outbound flight.

Hello, Comfort+ More return-flight options after selecting an outbound flight

When an agent or member selects an outbound flight, we now return a broader and more useful set of compatible return-flight options.

Previously, return options could be more limited than expected, which made it harder for advisors and members to compare choices or build the itinerary they wanted. This improvement gives travelers more flexibility, helps advisors present better options, and creates a smoother round-trip (circle-trip) shopping experience. Next up will be more options for open-jaws and complex multi-city itineraries.

Return flight search feature rolled back due to a bug found in production that would occasionally turn RT itineraries into OW itineraries. Fix is in progress and separate announcement will be made when the feature is available in the preview environment for club testing and validation.

More accurate commission handling across booking types

We improved how air booking commissions are calculated so they are applied more consistently once a booking is fully ticketed.

This helps ensure commissions are captured correctly across more booking scenarios, including on-hold bookings and tickets issued outside the online flow. The result is more reliable financial reporting and fewer missed commission opportunities.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Correct ticket numbers on multi-passenger bookings For bookings with multiple passengers, the system could occasionally show an incorrect ticket number for a traveler. We improved how passengers are matched to tickets so each traveler is linked to the correct ticket.
  • Exchanged tickets now update fully on first sync When a ticket was exchanged, some updated ticket details previously did not appear until a later refresh. Exchanged ticket information now syncs fully the first time, giving advisors a more complete and accurate booking record right away.
  • No more duplicate authorizations on multi-airline trips We fixed an issue where some multi-airline bookings could place a second card authorization even though only one set of tickets was issued. Members should now see only the expected authorization.
  • Clearer handling for bookings with too many passenger types Some air bookings failed when the request included more passenger types than the airline allowed. We improved how these requests are handled so they no longer fail unexpectedly without clear handling.
  • Resolved a sync failure on certain bookings Some bookings were repeatedly failing to sync when key fare information was missing. These cases are now handled more gracefully so affected bookings can sync successfully.

🚗 Car

TL;DR

New car search results cards are coming into preview. Advisors and members will see clearer vehicle cards, more accurate location data, and better handling of payment and confirmation details.

🚀 New Features

[In-preview] Redesigned car search result cards

We redesigned the car search results experience on both mobile and desktop to make it easier to compare vehicles and rates. The new cards are cleaner, more visual, and easier to scan. Vehicle images are larger, AAA savings are more prominent, and brand benefits such as Hertz benefits are easier to see. When multiple rates are available, members can expand the card to compare options side by side, including pay-later and prepaid choices.

✨ Enhancements

More accurate and reliable car rental locations

We continued improving our source of Sabre car rental location data. Location information is now refreshed from Sabre’s official feed on a regular schedule, with added monitoring and tuning.

This should make pickup and drop-off locations more accurate and more stable, while reducing location-related issues in the shopping experience.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Bookings no longer marked confirmed without vendor confirmation
    • We fixed an issue where a Sabre car booking could appear as confirmed and paid even when the rental vendor had not actually confirmed the reservation.
    • The booking status will now more accurately reflect whether the vendor has confirmed the reservation, helping advisors avoid confusion and follow up when needed.
  • One-way car rentals via Sabre We are adding support for one-way car rentals through Sabre, where the pickup and drop-off locations are different. This expands the types of car itineraries advisors and members can support through the platform.

Cruise

  • Revelex integration for Disney Cruise Line is nearly complete and will be available for club testing soon.

Enhancements

  • Cruise redesigned confirmation email in the new style

Bug Fixes

  • Viking Promotions: AAA Member Benefit promotions now correctly display across all applicable sailings.

Guided Tour

New Features

  • The new guided tour experience is out and live! If you haven’t tried it, head over now to see the brand new modern experience and try out AI features for comparing tours.

Enhancements

  • We’re launching reviews from travelers for TTC trips, where agents and members can see the ratings past travelers left.   
  • Members can book TTC tours from next week, unlocking Trafalgar, Insight, Luxury Gold, Brendan, Contiki, and CostSaver for online bookings.
  • You can now send members and view as agents special landing pages for trip types including luxury, slow paced, sustainable, and more. On the tour landing page scroll down to see them at the bottom!

Bug Fixes

  • Various minor usability improvements to the tour experience

Hotel

New Features

  • The new modern product search bar, with major improvements to the mobile Destination, Dates, Travelers input. This will be AB tested and stagged out over the next 2 weeks.
  • We will be AB testing an improvement to the hotel details page, showcasing AAA benefits, map and location summary above the fold, and top level pricing so members can see the price before scrolling down.

  • New popular filters AB test launching, with the ability to quickly filter by top searched amenities and most popular neighborhoods

  • Entirely cancelled trips will now reflect as such in the subject line of their cancellation email.
  • Unbooked items on a trip will correctly be excluded from the subject line of emails

Manual Booking V2

  • Advisors can now send confirmation emails for every product type they book manually.
  • Manually booked trips now appear in the traveler’s My Reservations.
  • A cleaner, more consistent booking form: separate Primary and Alternate phone numbers with a type selector, clearer date and time prompts, and a quick View Trip link from booking details.
  • Notes on a booking now carry forward when you modify it.
  • Clearer required fields when adding optional extras.
  • Payment status correctly returns to Incomplete after a refund.
  • Confirmation emails now reach every recipient you select, and resending one works reliably across all product types.
  • Typed dates no longer disappear when you click away from a date field.
  • Payment field errors now clear once you enter valid details.
  • Car pickup location is now required.
  • Better responsiveness on smaller screens for dropdowns in payment section.

New Checkout

  • Address entry is now a single field with typeahead suggestions, for both traveler and payment.
  • A reminder now appears if no trip protection selection is made before checkout.
  • The “Send Copy” button is now “Share.”
  • Checkout no longer fails silently after a trip protection selection clears traveler fields.
  • Trip protection selection now updates correctly even if the protection service is briefly unavailable.
  • Fixed a misplaced address suggestions dropdown, and the billing address checkbox now clears form errors as expected.
